Guáimaro, July 20.- A total of 71 graduates from the main campus of the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz University (UC), the Guáimaro Municipal University Center (CUM), and the University of Computer Sciences received their degrees at the local House of Culture, all with the responsibility to contribute to the socioeconomic and cultural development of the territory.
During the ceremony, an award was presented to the top graduate of the Guáimaro CUM, Yurima Moreno Torres, a graduate of the Bachelor's degree in Preschool Education and recipient of the Gold Medal.
In the keynote speech, Dr. Julio Madera Quintana, Rector of the UC, congratulated the graduates and called on them to always uphold three fundamental principles for their professional stage: scientific rigor, creativity, and humility; as well as to pursue postgraduate programs, research projects, or teaching careers.
Additionally, the main authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba and the local Government presented a special recognition to the young José Antonio Fernández Ayra, for achieving the status of Integral Vanguard of the 2025-2026 Graduation at the Agramontino institution of higher learning.
The graduates come from programs such as Physical Culture, Agronomy, Accounting and Finance, Law, Civil Engineering, and History, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Spanish-Literature Education, Primary Education, Preschool Education, and Informatics.
