Guáimaro, December 10th -Kindergarten aims to promote the maximum comprehensive development of boys and girls from zero to six years old. Therefore, the preparation of qualified personnel who can assume this responsibility is essential.
The Municipal University Center (CUM) of Guáimaro currently has an enrollment of 42 students in the Preschool Education program, organized into two modalities. In the three-year program, there are two female students, one of whom is expected to graduate in 2026. In the five-term program, 40 students are enrolled, of whom 16 are preparing to graduate.
The completion of studies is scheduled between July 8 and 28, 2026, according to Ángela Susana Pose García, coordinator of the program at the institution.
To guarantee the training of these future professionals, the CUM has a highly qualified faculty: 15 specialized professors, including a full professor with a doctorate in Educational Sciences; eight with a master's degree; six with bachelor's degrees; as well as four assistants, nine aides, and two instructors.
Additionally, two students from the program participate in the research project "Building Capacities for Sustainable Socioeconomic Transformation in Livestock Communities," whose objective is to promote role-playing games in rural areas from an early age.
