March, 2026.- Bombs do not distinguish faces or names; their blind impact destroys innocent lives, dreams, and hopes. War violence does not build a future; it only leaves deep scars in the memory of peoples. For these and many other reasons, we say: No to war!
Today, as the United States together with Israel intensify attacks against Iran and the threats from the U.S. administration toward the largest island of the Antilles worsen, we reaffirm that peace is the only honorable path.
Cuba, like any country, deserves to live free from the specter of military aggression and the pressure of powers seeking to impose their will.
The history of humanity clearly shows that military conflicts are disastrous for nations: they destroy economies, fracture societies, and sow hatred that lasts for generations.
No armed conflict has brought true justice or lasting peace; on the contrary, it has multiplied human suffering.
Peace, on the other hand, is a bridge that unites cultures and enables dialogue. It is a beacon of cooperation, absence of conflict, a state of well-being, tranquility, stability, and security that creates space for solidarity and mutual respect.
Defending peace is safeguarding life itself, and today more than ever, it is a duty to raise our voices against war.
