Camagüey.- The diversification of its commercial destinations is one of the prioritized missions of the Fishing Company (Pescacam) in this province, with a fundamental emphasis on placing its product portfolio in the tourism industry.
The aquaculture production in the region is one of the most stable nationally, and it can also include fish from marine catches, which broadens the scope both in terms of offerings and variety.
Pedro Pablo Javier Mora, the young commercial representative of the institution, specified that in the recent business round with hotel enclaves, they presented several of their products, such as fillets, tenderloin, and natural fish paste, which have been well received.
The northern keys of the territory have a significant reservoir of hotels and represent an attractive market for the Camagüeyan entity, which is interested in creating mutually beneficial links.
These connections would allow for income that could be reinvested to acquire necessary inputs and raw materials in the manufacturing process.
In recent months, Pescacam has sought viable alternatives with the aim of keeping its units active despite energy limitations, as well as ensuring its various social commitments.
