With a floral offering to the most universal of Cubans, the new vocational training course for students of the José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM) began this week at the Golden Age Pioneers Palace in Guáimaro.

In the municipal capital, a total of 228 interest groups focus their activities on the disciplines of Agronomy, Nursing, Tactical Command, Veterinary Medicine, and four teaching specialties.

The comprehensive lectures will begin next November in all secondary schools, with teacher coverage guaranteed by instructors categorized as specialists and master's specialists in each subject.

The school year at the Guaimaro institution opened its doors as part of the Camilo-Che ideological event and will continue with a tribute to the centennial of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the main promoter of the creation of these educational and career-orientation spaces for children and adolescents in Cuba.
