A Place Where Longevity and Culture Meet

Guáimaro, November 9.- The home of Grandfather Major General Salomé Hernández in Guáimaro, a cherished product of the Cuban Revolution, is enriched by the cultural initiatives promoted by the collective of the Luz Palomares García cultural center.

Thanks to their efforts, the stay of the elderly becomes a welcoming space, where each day is filled with affection and respect for those who already sport silver hair.

The grandparents enjoy the company and talent of local artists, who fill every corner with joy through their art.

In this home, they are provided with food, rest, and medical attention, but also something equally valuable: moments of healthy recreation that brighten their days.

Games of dominoes, exercise routines, educational talks, and walks around the institution become experiences that strengthen both body and spirit. Each activity leaves positive marks on them, reflected in smiles that speak of gratitude and shared well-being.
