November 2025 - Let us invoke the memory of the unforgettable Commander Fidel Castro Ruz, the man who demonstrated the strength of a victorious love through his actions. Let us honor him today and forever, for he firmly and patriotically earned that right. If his name and figure shine at the pinnacle of eternity, it is because there are ample reasons that justify such distinction: above all, his profound humanity and his forward-thinking vision, capable of looking beyond his time.
These words from the young pioneer Yoselín Sofía Hernández Cordoví from Guáimaro once again highlight that Fidel remains eternally in memory as a man indifferent to titles and honors, the same man who rejected monuments in his name, who lives on in his ideas because he knew how to sow them with ingenuity and talent at the forefront of a troop of young rebels, when he achieved victory on January 1, 1959, and when he promoted a work that, although imperfect, approaches the enduring.
