January, 2026.- On this second day of tribute, the homeland dresses itself in reverent silence and infinite gratitude. It is not death that extinguishes souls, for they transcend earth and time; it is not burial that erases memory, because remembrance becomes an eternal flame. Only those who are forgotten truly die, and today, more than ever, all of Cuba proclaims that its 32 fallen brothers in Venezuela live on in the dignity of their sacrifice and in the honor of their dedication.

They did not depart in vain. Their blood merged with history, and their courage became an example, a root that sustains the hope of peoples. Each one reminds us that greatness is not measured by years lived, but by the mark that endures forever in the collective conscience.
The largest of the Antilles bids them farewell with pride, looks upon them with respect, and embraces them with the certainty that their legacy will remain invincible. They are heroes who do not know oblivion, because their memory multiplies in every grateful heart, in every voice that names them, in every tear turned into a promise of continuity.
Today, the homeland bows before them, not with sadness, but with the firm conviction that such dignity ennobles history.
May the honor they defended be a beacon for generations to come!
