Social Security in Cuba: A Support that Restores Hope (+ Audio)

November 2025.- In Guáimaro, Social Security is not just a right written in laws; it is a hug from the State to those who need it most. Elderly individuals who have been left alone, mothers facing life with children in situations of disability, people burdened with illnesses or limitations without family support—everyone finds in this protective system provided by society a support that restores hope.

This assistance comes in the form of pensions, subsidies, home care, and material aid that alleviate the burden of vulnerability. It is not just about numbers or programs, but about life stories that transform when someone knocks on the door with support. In every gesture, the State reaffirms that no one should be left unprotected, because social justice is built on tenderness and shared responsibility. (Photo taken from the Internet)
