Guáimaro, January 10th - The development of e-commerce in the easternmost territory of Camagüey is emerging as a key tool to improve the quality of life for the population. However, the results achieved so far have not yet met expectations.
At branch 5821 of the Banco Popular de Ahorro, commercial manager Yunier Salgado Díaz explained that the main payment platforms used are Transfermóvil and Enzona, while for companies, legal entities, and self-employed workers, the Virtual Bandec service is employed. Among them, Transfermóvil is the most in demand among users.
Salgado Díaz acknowledged that difficulties persist in providing these services, such as QR code scanning failures, which are affected by connection instability caused by the current energy contingency in the country.
Meanwhile, Niurka Rivero Montero, in charge of Customer Service in the commercial department of the Base Business Unit (UEB) of the Guáimaro Electric Company, highlighted the advantages offered by e-commerce, including paying the electricity bill from home. She added that through the Transfermóvil application, customers can also check the corresponding tariff.
