Ibero-American Congress on Science and Technology Management in Cuba

Havana, Nov 4 - The Ibero-American Congress on Science and Technology Management, Ibergecyt 2025, begins today at the Palace of Conventions in Havana.

The meeting is organized by the Knowledge and Technology Management Company (Gecyt), part of the InnoMAX Business Group, and the Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (Citma) of Havana.

Yadira Carrillo Frías, general director of Gecyt, stated in a preview to Prensa Latina that this congress aims for participants to exchange experiences on topics related to knowledge management, innovation, and technology.

The event, scheduled from November 4 to 7, is aimed at entrepreneurs, government representatives, innovators, scientists, academics, and students.

It is also expected that staff from universities, information centers, and science and technology parks will attend, along with various economic actors, the official noted at the Citma headquarters.

According to the organizing committee, the thematic axes of this meeting include digital transformation, innovation management, sustainable local development, value chains and competitiveness, as well as social and corporate responsibility, among other issues.

The congress program, themed "Space for Innovation and Management Thinking," includes keynote speeches, panels, interactive workshops, research presentations, and multi-sectoral networking opportunities.

Alongside the scientific meeting, the Innovation Fair for the Development of Havana will take place, during which participants can present their products, solutions, and new developments achieved in their areas of expertise.

This occasion will also provide an opportunity for commercial offers and activities between related companies.
