Camagüey. – The Computing and Mathematics Congress (COMPUMAT) 2025 concluded this Thursday at the Salta Cecilia Convention Center, with the conference "Artificial Intelligence in the Teaching of Mathematics and Computing: Proposals for Its Implementation," presented by Dr. Eduardo Pérez Almarales.
During his presentation, Dr. Pérez Almarales highlighted how artificial intelligence can enhance the teaching of mathematics and optimize assessment processes, offering ideas to integrate these tools into educational systems.
Following this, several workshops were held where attendees discussed the use of emerging technologies in mathematical and computational training.
The speakers shared their experiences and addressed current challenges in the education of these disciplines.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Luis Ramiro Piñeiro, president of the National Society of Mathematics and Computing, emphasized the importance of this event for strengthening academic collaboration despite the country's energy difficulties. Piñeiro underscored the advances in integrating new technologies into mathematics education, pointing out that the Congress has served as a platform for future alliances.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to educational innovation and the development of mathematical talent in Cuba.
