Clinical trials will have significant contributions

Havana, Cuba. – Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, during a meeting with experts and scientists on health issues, reasoned that despite the difficult times we are facing, there is good news.

The Head of State said this after listening to a group of distinguished scientists, who discussed advances in clinical trials of new vaccine candidates, which, by their nature, will have remarkable impacts on the quality of life of Cubans.

During the session, also chaired by the member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, Dagmar García Rivera, Deputy Director of Research and Development at the Finlay Vaccine Institute, referred to the program for the development of conjugate pneumococcal vaccines.
