Bombs carry no names

Bombs carry no names

April 2026 — The bombs carry no names, they only silence lives without asking who we are. I found this phrase on the social network Facebook; reading it, I felt it like a universal echo that crosses borders and collective memories, like the echo that reminds us of something very important: war never distinguishes between innocents and culprits.

In each missile sent to the earth, a story is extinguished, a future is mutilated, the hope of entire peoples is shattered, and war violence recognizes neither nationalities nor creeds; its balance is always the same: death, pain, and uprooting.

Today, when voices rise warning about the possibility of a conflict between the United States and Cuba, reflection becomes urgent.

The accumulated experience in thousands of real legends teaches that wars do not resolve differences, they only deepen them. No population deserves to be condemned to devastation by interests beyond its will.

The call is clear and necessary: NO TO WAR! — also in uppercase — NO TO THE IMPOSITION OF FORCE OVER REASON! Let this maxim also stand out in my writing. No to the repetition of a cycle that only leaves ruins. Peace, although fragile, is the only path that guarantees the life and dignity of nations.

The word, dialogue, and solidarity must be the weapons in these and all times.

Let us always bear in mind that: bombs do not ask who we are, but we CAN decide what future we want to build.
