Festival to celebrate the book and its virtues (+ Post)

April 2026.- In the easternmost part of the Camagüey territories, where history intertwines with the sap of culture, books sparkle like living embers that illuminate both memory and the future.

Every page is a heartbeat, and every verse, a bridge leading us back to the roots of who we are.

The artistic and literary vanguard of the region transcends local boundaries, becoming a pillar of Camagüeyan culture and, by extension, the entire Cuban nation. Its strength lies in the ability to blend tradition and modernity, guarding historical memory while charting new coordinates for expression.

Here, the written word and literary creation are aesthetic exercises, acts of resistance, and expressions of identity.

The writers of Guáimaro treasure the gift of serving as a collective voice, contributing to the cultural richness of Camagüey and adding to the diversity and vitality of local, provincial, national, and international literature.

That sparkling array of books, décimas, narratives, and essays is eternal proof that culture is sustained by the dedication of its creators. To recognize the value of this vanguard is to ratify that Guáimaro is both seed and root.
