Guáimaro, April 30.- Ahead of the Third National Conference of the Union belonging to workers in Education, Science and Sports, the Guaimareño pedagogues spearheaded the pilot assembly in the region, inspired by the motto of strengthening union work in the different labor collectives.
At first, the 20 delegates to the conference learned about the candidacy of proposals for members of the Municipal Bureau of the Union and delegates to the provincial conference scheduled for September 17 of the current year.
Once the comrades were presented, they were elected through direct and secret vote, and later the results were announced, with the entire candidacy approved.
Yoslaidis Velázquez Gaslovo was ratified to hold the position of general secretary of the union.
