Guáimaro, December 2nd.- The members of the Guáimaro team in the 9-10 year category achieved a commendable second place in the provincial Taekwondo event, following a closely contested competition that held expectations throughout the past weekend.
The youngsters from the Cradle of the Constitution fought until the last day, when the difference of a gold medal determined that the Camagüey team secured first place and Sibanicú the third spot on the podium.
The group led by Yubilka Milanés Palmero dominated the technical tests, flexibility, and skill festival, while giving ground in the competitive aspect.
