Guáimaro, Nov 5 - The women from the easternmost part of the Camagüey territory play an essential role in the political, economic, and social progress of the region.

Guáimareña women take on leadership and representation responsibilities at local and national levels, as well as in the educational field, promoting guidance and prevention on health and well-being issues.
Furthermore, the women from the town that gave birth to the Constitution seize the opportunities provided by the Revolution to educate themselves and actively participate in society. From their positions, they face challenges and overcome barriers of intolerance.
Their presence in the workforce and their involvement in implementing strategies to eliminate gender-based violence stand out as significant achievements that highlight their valuable contribution to community development.
