Guáimaro, Aug 22.- In the easternmost of the Camagüey municipalities, control actions continue to ensure compliance with sales policies and legality in the operation of private businesses, under the same codes of public service as state entities.
According to surveys of members of the four teams created in Guáimaro for the inspection exercise, which will take place until the upcoming September 15, among the main incidents, the falsification of invoices stands out, which constitutes a serious violation as it makes the real calculation of prices impossible.
Consequently, the workgroups reported the detection of speculative or altered prices and tax evasion.
Other violations are related to the refusal of some economic actors to accept online payments for procedures involving the change of ownership of the fiscal account, even though Resolution 111/2023 of the Central Bank of Cuba establishes the obligation to guarantee customers access to and use of electronic channels for the acquisition of goods and the provision of services.
Eddy Abreu Victoria, vice-intendant of the Municipal Administration Council, stated that the exercise, which is of a national nature, will remain as a working method in the territory for the supervision and improvement of domestic trade, powers that are also inherent to the management of the municipal administration, in accordance with economic and social transformations.
