Nov, 2025.- Bringing art and developing it throughout the territory is an invaluable tool for educating the appreciation of various artistic expressions in children, young people, and adults, and for creating spaces for creation guided by instructors with the aim of promoting dance, visual arts, theater, literature, and music.
With the fundamental mission of popularizing culture in the easternmost of the municipalities of Camagüey, several projects are no longer dreams but are becoming reality, many of which are aimed at supporting the work of the Luz Palomares García cultural center, recognized for the efforts of its collective—a whole cultural movement capable of reaching the most remote areas of the region.
Additionally, there is a commitment to transform the school into the most important community cultural center.
Inspired by this goal, instructors conduct appreciation-creation workshops in the classrooms and form artistic units, endorsed by groups of amateur artists with whom they work. The results materialize when presenting choreographic productions, choirs, solo performances, recitations, theater plays, and musical ensembles, which are always present at political events or activities designed both within and outside the municipality.
