Florida, Jan 8th - The Florida branch of the Cuban Commercial Company Casas de Cambio S.A., better known as CADECA, has started selling cash dollars to the general public, based on the exchange rate of the day, which is published on the Central Bank of Cuba’s website and social media, as well as on other national profiles and sites such as Cubadebate.
To access the currency, a prior reservation must be made for the purchase through the digital platform Transfermóvil, which must be updated to the December 25, 2025 version, where this functionality is active in the “My Turn” option under the Operations menu.
For the purchase of dollars, users can pay in cash or transfer the money from a card.
The municipalities of Florida and Esmeralda were chosen, after the provincial capital, to offer this service, which facilitates access to the currency for the inhabitants of these localities.
Since January 3rd, the sale of cash dollars to natural persons began in Florida, with a prior virtual reservation through the digital platform Transfermóvil.
