Nov, 2025.- Much more than a cultural task, bringing art to all areas of the territory represents a mission of life. In every classroom and community space, the seed of sensitivity is sown, and the appreciation of various artistic expressions is cultivated. In the most eastern region of Camagüey, children, young people, and adults find in dance, visual arts, theater, literature, and music a common language that unites and transforms them.
With the mission of popularizing culture, the art instructors representative of the José Martí Brigade support the work of the Luz Palomares García cultural center, an institution filled with projects that connect generations.
In this colossal and necessary battle, the school becomes the epicenter of creation, a true cultural heart.
Inspired by this purpose, the teachers conduct workshops in artistic appreciation and creation, form units that draw from local talent, and rely on the strength of amateur artists. The results are visible in every choreographic piece, in choirs and solo performances, in recitations and theatrical works, in the musical ensembles that accompany political events and cultural activities both within and outside the municipality.
