Camagüey, November 24 - The construction of houses in the provincial capital municipality shows significant delays this year, considering that by the end of October only 31 houses were completed, representing 25% of the total.
During the evaluation of this matter at the Camagüey Administration Council, it was specified that all programs were affected, including state efforts, self-financed projects, and basic housing units (CBH).
It was reported at the meeting that currently there are seven houses in the finishing phase scheduled for November and December, managed by the Forestry, Construction and Assembly, and Materials Industry Enterprises of the People's Power.
The main deficiencies affecting the housing execution plan in the Agramontina capital are the shortage of resources from the national budget, delays in payments, and a lack of management with endogenous products.
