Learning, flavors and tradition for healthy eating

As part of World Food Day, Guaimaro primary schools held the pioneering event Guajirito Soy this Thursday.

The Forest Martiano at the Irene Muñoz School in the La Carbonera neighborhood was the venue for the activity, which coincided with Explorer's Day. There, the pioneers, with the help of parents and teachers, demonstrated their skills in preparing traditional dishes.

The Salvador Cisneros Betancourt Educational Institution celebrated the date with a special morning event where children, led by librarian Yanulis Muñoz Nieves, shared their knowledge of healthy eating habits and values.
