Camagüey, Dec. - With the commitment to ensure the mobility of students and teachers, the Province's School Transportation Company presented its annual report.
The director of the entity, Izaura García Barreiro, highlighted in the report that despite resource limitations, the passenger transportation plans were fulfilled.
The company serves several clients, with the educational sector being the main one, operating 50 routes in two shifts.

Among the difficulties highlighted are unexpected breakdowns, low fuel availability, and a lack of tires, lubricants, and spare parts.
Out of a fleet of 84 buses, only 29 remain operational, a situation worsened by the shortage of supplies and qualified labor, among other issues.
Even so, the economic results were positive, including the completion of 33 requalification exams as part of the drivers' road safety education.

At the meeting, the work of the Sibanicú Basic Business Unit was recognized, as well as the effort of the drivers; meanwhile, representatives from the sports sector highlighted the work of the team, which demonstrated an atmosphere of commitment and a sense of belonging.
Looking ahead to the coming year, the company plans to strengthen the organization, support innovators, improve working conditions, and build closer ties with universities to attract qualified personnel.
In his concluding remarks, the national technical director of the School Transport Company, Abel López Gandarilla, called for maintaining unity as an essential premise to guarantee the quality of the service.
