Guáimaro, January 31 - The Municipal Museum hosted the Balance Assembly of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) for the year 2025.
The event was attended by Ángel Arnoldo Figuerola Reyes, member of the Provincial Bureau in Camagüey, Armando Hernández Téllez, and local authorities.
During the meeting, the organization's performance was examined, with an emphasis on strengthening grassroots structures, increasing membership, and discipline in contributions—essential aspects to ensure the vitality of the association.
Marcelo Castro, president of the Office of Attention to Combatants, highlighted the priority of providing spiritual and material support to veterans and the sick through financing efforts and medical assistance. The preservation of plaques, monuments, and historical sites was also evaluated, as well as visits by students and youth, considered key tools to keep local memory alive.
The meeting made it possible to define projections for 2026, with the support of the main authorities of the region. The ACRC reaffirmed its role in the territory as an active force in defending patriotic values and preserving history for new generations.
