The work of this sector reaffirms its role as a pillar of the economy and, at the same time, as a vehicle for collective aspirations. The 2026 commemoration was not limited to historical remembrance: it highlighted the present commitment and future outlooks, aimed at consolidating development on solid foundations.

Rail transport is an inseparable part of the national identity, of shared memory, and of the spirit of resistance that distinguishes the Cuban people, especially those from Guamá.

This year's recognition extended to active and retired workers, tireless men and women, whose efforts translate into confidence, momentum, and the certainty that, with will and dedication, Cuba will continue advancing along the path of progress.
