Dedicated to Fidel: Children's Activity at José Martí Park in Florida

Florida, Nov. 25 - On the anniversary of the physical disappearance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the sociocultural project José Martí Park: Mirror of Our Identity dedicated its Saturday activity to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.

The commemorative event featured the participation of representatives from the Rubén Martínez Villena Library, the Luis Casas Romero Cultural Center, and the Municipal Museum, alongside the joy brought by the clown Corbatín.

Also contributing their talents were the Step by Step Project, led by instructor Niurka Santana, the young members of Circo Ilusión, and the amateur Leidys López, demonstrating the strength of the community artistic movement.

The Mirror of Our Identity project once again fulfilled its objective of strengthening the cultural and historical values of the Florida community.

Through the union of diverse artistic expressions and the efforts of its institutions, the municipality of Florida reaffirmed its permanent commitment to Fidel Castro’s ideals, remembering him not with sorrow, but with the vitality of a people who continue building their future.
