Guáimaro, November 26 - As part of the actions to strengthen the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the plenary session of the Municipal Committee in the easternmost territory of Camagüey approved new cadre movements, proposed by the organization's Provincial Committee in Camagüey.
Firstly, Comrade Yarisleidis Osoria Osorio was relieved of her responsibility as a professional member of the executive bureau to attend to the political-ideological sphere. She will assume other tasks outside the locality. Osoria, 45 years old, has more than 11 years of experience as a professional cadre of the PCC and has completed various training programs that support her performance.
In her place, Comrade Yainé Iraola Cruz was appointed, who until now was an official in ideological activity. Iraola, 41 years old, studied at the Provincial Faculty of the Party in 2024 and has over two decades of connection with the educational sector, where she served as general director. Her career provides her with extensive experience in leadership functions.
Additionally, the plenary session, chaired by Roberto Conde Silveira, member of the PCC Provincial Bureau, approved the promotion of Guillermo Méndez Reyes as political coordinator in the Martí popular council. Méndez, 35 years old, is an agricultural engineer and a member of the Party since 2019. He has held various responsibilities in the Municipal Collection Company and in the Agriculture Delegation, where he served as department head, deputy delegate, and municipal delegate.
