The Culture Week in Florida will be held from December 9 to 15

Florida, December 5.- The Culture Week commemorating the 101st anniversary of the declaration of the Municipal Term of Florida will be dedicated to three personalities who, through their careers, enrich the cultural work carried out here.

With 40 years of connection to the Municipal Cultural Sector, Amparo Sosa, an economist at that entity; Rafael González Borges, known as Guango, an amateur artist at the Casa de la Trova Pedro Loforte Sablón; and María Victoria Martínez, who has accumulated three decades of work as a specialist at the Rubén Martínez Villena Public Library, will be honored.

The honorees will receive public recognition for their work in favor of local culture at various venues, and the tribute will extend to the neighborhoods where they live and the cultural institutions in which these key figures of local culture perform.

The Floridan Culture Week, scheduled to take place from December 9 to 15, will be an opportunity to recognize three personalities whose work contributes to the development and maintenance of local culture more than a century after Florida obtained the status of municipality.
